  1. Welcome to Doug Hannon's 21st Century Bass Professor.  
  2. This disc has been developed to run on Windows '95 and 
  3. Windows NT platforms.

  5. Getting started:
  6.  
  7. To use this cd, insert the disc into your cd-rom drive.  
  8. Open the drive window and select SETUP.EXE.  The Bass 
  9. Professor and some data files will be installed, and an 
  10. icon will be placed into the Program menu of your Startup 
  11. menu.  You can run the Bass Professor by selecting the 
  12. check box at the end of the installation, or by choosing 
  13. it from your Program menu.

  15. If you have a previous Bass Professor disc already 
  16. installed, you still need to run the SETUP.EXE from 
  17. this cd.  This will automatically add the lakes on 
  18. this cd to your existing list of Lakes.

  22. The Bass Professor includes a link to the World Wide 
  23. Web.  To connect to the Bass Professor on-line, you 
  24. need to have a web browser installed and be connected 
  25. to your internet service provider.  When you select 
  26. Web Link from either the main menu or the Go To pull-down 
  27. menu for the first time, you will be asked to locate your 
  28. web browser.  Select the web browser executable, and click 
  29. open.  The Bass Professor will save this as a preference, 
  30. and will automatically take you to the Bass Professor web 
  31. site.  If you need to change which web browser you're using, 
  32. click the About button on the Main Menu.  On the About 
  33. screen, you have the option to clear the web browser 
  34. preference, or to select a new browser.
